What is a pre-season assessment (baseline)?

Why take a concussion test?

The concussion, caused by a direct blow to the head or indirect impulse to the head by a fall on the buttocks, for example, or a whiplash, can cause immediate or delayed symptoms such as headaches and difficulty concentrating. The baseline test provides an objective measurement of brain function, which facilitates assessment and treatment, in the unfortunate event of an injury. It allows for personalized recovery, ensures a safe return to play and helps prevent future injuries by identifying risk factors.
